Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By using Lasting Wishes, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

What this product is

Lasting Wishes captures personal preferences, stories, and messages through a private questionnaire and produces a summary document for your family. It is a keepsake and a record of wishes.

Not legal or financial advice

This product is not legal, financial, or medical advice, and we are not your attorney or advisor. It does not create a will, advance directive, power of attorney, or any binding legal instrument.

This document records personal preferences as of the date shown. It is not a will, advance directive, power of attorney, or insurance policy. Where legal documents exist, those documents govern.

Hosted vault and how long we keep your information

If you purchase the Secure Digital Legacy Vault, we host your private summary page for as long as we operate the service. This is a hosting convenience, not a guarantee of perpetual storage. You can download your summary document at any time, and we encourage you to keep your own copy, because that downloaded document is yours to keep regardless of the hosted page.

If we ever discontinue the hosted vault, we will give reasonable advance notice and a way to download your document first. We may remove data from accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, with notice where we have a way to reach you. You can request a copy or deletion of your information at any time by emailing privacy@lastingwishes.co.
